I needed to pop the ring out by disengaging the plastics clips using a putty knife; then it was an easy job of unscrewing the old handle and screwing the new one in. After some searching located the one non visible screw holding handle removed both holding screws and replaced new handle. Took more time to locate this one screw than replacing the new handle. Pried away a gasket/cover on the inside of the microwave door that covered the screw on the bottom part of the handle, unscrewed the broken handle and used the same screws to attach the new handle.
