Deb B Landisville , PA December 23, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Free Standing Microwave JVM1870CF06 The handle to our 9 year old microwave broke I researched the GE website and talked with one of their representatives. She said to look at youtube videos on how to replace the handle. AppliancePartsPros had a video about it, and when I researched their site, found that I could save about $20 by purchasing through them. At first I thought that I would be getting an "almond" handle, rather than the "bisque", but they shipped a perfect GE replacement part for us, and we had it installed in less than 30 minutes. It looks and works great! Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers

Solange S Ft. Pierce , FL January 26, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Free Standing Microwave JVM1870CF06 Ge profile microwave (model jvm1870cf06) broken handle We just installed the new handle in our over the range microwave. It took around 30 minutes for the whole installation. The hard part for us (we are two seniors) was the removal of the two screws, once that was done the rest was very simple. I want to compliment on how fast the order arrived in just about 24 hours. It was amazing! Also the bisque color fix perfect. Thank you very much for such fast service. Read More...
