Description

This switch harness connects the surface-burner knob switches to the spark ignition system, carrying the signal that makes the burners click and light. Replace a damaged or shorted harness to restore consistent, dependable ignition. What it does:

• Provides the circuit path between each burner valve switch and the spark module/igniters
• Sends the signal to spark when a knob is turned to the Light/ignite position
• A failed harness can cause continuous clicking, no spark on one or more burners, or ignition only when another knob is turned

• 1 switch harness assembly

Install notes:

• Disconnect electrical power; shut off gas supply if work will disturb gas connections
• Remove burner knobs and lift the cooktop/top panel to access the switches and wiring
• Transfer connectors one at a time; seat each switch fully on the valve stem and route wires away from sharp edges and hot surfaces
• Reassemble, restore power, and test each burner for proper sparking
