Description

This lower oven bake element provides the primary heat source for Bake cycles, restoring proper preheat and even, reliable cooking. Replace it if the oven won't heat, preheats slowly, or bakes unevenly.

• Heats from the bottom in Bake to reach and maintain set temperature
• Common symptoms: no heat in Bake, very slow preheat, oven temperature too low, or uneven results
• Visual clues: cracks, blisters, or burned spots on the element sheath
• If shorted, it may trip the circuit breaker when Bake is selected

• Disconnect power at the breaker and let the oven cool completely
• Remove racks, take out the element's mounting screws, and gently pull the element forward
