Joseph L Temple , TX August 04, 2026 Fresh food evaporator was freezing and ice maker motor was stuck in my ge refrigerator I replaced the evaporator fan after using a steam gun to defrost the evaporator and ensuring the drain wasn't clogged. After assembling, I noticed the refrigerator wasn't performing a defrost cycle. After testing the heater, I determined the main board relay was malfunctioning and not supplying the voltage to the heater. After correcting this, the ice maker wasn't making ice still and after troubleshooting it, I determined the dc motor was stuck.
