Description

This dryer high-limit thermostat is the safety cutoff for the heating circuit. When internal temperature exceeds its limit, it opens the heater circuit to prevent overheating, protecting components and helping ensure safe, reliable drying operation.

• Monitors temperature near the heater and opens the heating circuit at a preset safety threshold
• Helps prevent overheating that can damage internal components
• Common symptoms of a faulty thermostat: dryer runs but no heat, overheating or hot/burning odor, heat that cycles off too quickly or frequent shutoffs
• If stuck open, the dryer will not heat
