Paul F Hernando , MS July 26, 2014 2 of the ignitors would not spark wires were frayed by ? mice The only issue I had was that I had ordered spark igniters the week prior after watching your repair video which showed the spark igniters with wires attached. When the ignitors arrived, there were no wires, so I ordered this harness which actually fixed the problem with having to open the igniters. I am now trying to return the igniters, but I can't do it without the serial number from my appliance, which I did not use the order the parts, I now have to make a trip back up to my rental unit to get the serial number in order to process the return. The actual repair took less than 1/2 an hour to complete. Read More... 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
Michael D York , ME November 22, 2015 Appliance: Model JGB920SEC-SS One gas burner would not ignite Wellll, first we called an appliance repairman provided through the insurance plan. After several tries he put his hands in the air and basically stated that it would never work. So, I looked around and found appliancepartspros.com and looked at the diagrams and parts lists provided. A few days later the new spark module and spark wires arrived. After less than an hour the parts were in and we were firing on all four burners. Put the stove back together and it works fine. I will be returning the spark module because it wasn't needed. Richard W Bakersfield , CA August 19, 2016 Appliance: Model JGBS22BEA02WH Degraded burner igniter wires Checked online instructions for range top ands rear upright removal. Cleaned inside surfaces before removing individual wires one at a time. Ran the new wires through retainers first, then to the correct igniters next. Replaced removed parts to restore. Note: The remove the top burner screws from the cook top before trying to remove it. Otherwise, you will bend the burner gas supply tubes and possibly damage them if not done in sequence. Utube mentioned using a screwdriver for the cook top screws. This was not actually the case with our model. Used Allen wrench to remove and replace them. The repair experience good, just wish it was not necessary to do. Furry creatures have strange feeding habits and taste bents!
