Description

This ice sweep is a molded plastic deflector that helps move ice from the ice maker mold into the ice bin, keeping cubes from sticking or jamming the dispenser. It restores proper ice release and smoother dispensing. What it does:

• Guides and nudges formed ice out of the ice maker mold into the storage bin
• Helps reduce ice clumping and jams that can block dispensing
• Keeps ice moving cleanly between the ice maker and the bin for consistent fill
• Works with the ice maker's ejector action to improve cube release

Install notes:

• Turn off power to the refrigerator before starting any repair
• Remove ice bucket and any obstructing components to access the ice maker housing
• Replace the sweep by sliding or snapping it into the ice maker as shown in your model's parts diagram
