Description

This inlet water valve controls water flow into the appliance, allowing the dispenser and ice/water systems to fill on demand. Replaces a worn or failed valve to restore water delivery. What it does:

• Opens and closes water flow when the dispenser or ice maker calls for water
• Helps maintain proper fill for ice makers and dispenser systems
• Commonly used when dispenser or ice maker does not fill, fills slowly, or runs continuously
• Can leak or drip when internal seals or solenoids fail

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before starting work
• Relieve water pressure and have a towel or small container ready for residual water
• Tighten fittings to manufacturer torque; check for leaks after reconnecting water
