Description

The Installation Hardware Kit is an OEM part for GE over-the-range microwaves. It contains brackets and fasteners used to securely mount the microwave above the range cooking surface.

Symptoms requiring an installation hardware replacement include:

• Missing or damaged anti-tip brackets  
• Loose mounting screws or damaged mounting plates
• Inability to properly position and affix the microwave

Causes can be stripped mounts from over-tightening old hardware or components lost during a previous removal. Normal wear over extended use may also degrade hardware.

This genuine GE kit is compatible with some Profile and GE Profile series models as well.
