Jeffrey D Lanesborough , MA January 24, 2017 Mice decided to move into the insulation surrounding my fairly new oven (only 2 years old) My husband googled the issue, took apart the oven to see what he needed and we ordered the parts. Amy H La Monte , MO February 24, 2016 Appliance: General Electric General Electric JBP23DR3WW Mice moved into my oven and tunneled through the insulation Figured out how to take oven apart then removed all the old insulation. Throughly cleaned every thing and black taped the wire where the mice chewed on it. I ordered this insulation and didn't use the oven until it came in. Once I received it I took the oven back apart and placed the insulation in place. Every thing was precut to size. Super easy to install! Then put everything back together. Oven is good as new. Warren N Fayetteville , NC January 29, 2018 Mice had nested in the over/stove top insulation nasty Unfortunately, there was an awful smell each time we would turn on the oven. We googled what a problem may have been, and to no surprise our insulation needed to be replaced due to urination from mice when decided to make home in our stove top. It was fairly easy to replace the insulation although timely since we had never taken a stove completely apart. Gladly to say all went well and now we can use the oven again.
