James S Alameda , CA April 12, 2014 The control panel on a ge dishwasher had failed I called a local repair man, who charged $89 to tell me what I already knew. He also quoted me $285 to complete the repair, and he said obtaining the part would take 2 to 3 weeks, claiming "Nobody stocks this part." This seemed questionable, since the GE dishwasher is only 4 years old, so I decided to search online. AppliancePartsPros found the part in stock in a few minutes using just the model number, and they shipped it. I received it in two days, and installed it. I am assuredly NOT an appliance savvy installer, and some minimal installation instructions would have been helpful. But I eventually muddled my way through the process.
