Wayne S Los Alamos , NM January 13, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Electric Range JSP47BF2BB Clear plastic over display was ripped 1) Removed knobs. 2) Removed large nuts under knobs, which allowed me to lift the cover. 3) At this point I could see the bolts holding down the key panel, which I removed. 4) The key panel is attached by a wire ribbon to the controller underneath it, so I removed the bolts holding it in place. 5) The wire ribbon is held in place on the control panel by a plastic wedge. Pulling the wedge out, released the old wire ribbon. 6) Putting the new wire ribbon and reinserting the plastic wedge secured the wire ribbon. 7) I then replaced all of the bolts and then the large nuts, followed by the knobs and I was done.
