Description

This knob assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part that is found on range hoods. The knob is used to turn the power off and on to the fan and light. This knob is made of durable plastic, but it may crack and break over time. If this happens, it isn't easy to turn the shaft to the off and position that powers the fan and light. When the knob is damaged, it should be removed and replaced with a new one. Tools are not required to remove and replace the knob. To start, disconnect the range hood from the outlet or turn off the breaker. Grasp it tightly and pull hard. The knob will pop off. Line the new knob up with the slot and push it in place. Restore the power to the range hood.This knob assembly is a black plastic molded part sold individually. It is designed for range hoods manufactured by General Electric.
