Thomas C Horseheads , NY September 04, 2017 Appliance: Model JP328BFBB Salt potatoes boiled over and water got into one of the infinite controls which started arcing The GE cook top came with the house my Daughter bought and was so old the model number was obsolete. Kathy Powell put in a lot of extra time and effort to determine what the replacement parts should be. My hat goes off to her and the research team. Richard G Salinas , CA October 25, 2019 Large burner was not working after I had replaced it. I found out that the control switch was also out. After I received new replacement switch. I turned off power at breaker. I lifted top and propped up and removed control box removing screws around it then took picture of switch to identify where terminals go and disconnected and removed switch. I installed new one and connected terminals and re installed control box and turned power back on & tested. Worked great! Read More...
