John M Hollister , CA December 19, 2014 Oven did not heat up to the proper temp I put in a new oven control board. So instead of putting the temp knob 80 degrees higher than it should, I dont have to do that anymore. The best part is I get to make our gingerbread houses as gifts! Because of a great support staff that worked on sunday the two gals there know their stuff. Its nice to work with a nice and efficient co. Will be back when other stuff breaks down because when you fix one thing the other appliances get upset when they dont get any attention. Trust me this happens here. George P Paso Robles , CA May 01, 2015 Appliance: Model HOTPOINT (GE) RGB745BEA8WH Oven not working digital display not showing information Verified operation/ non-op w/ oven, broiler, stove top, digital controller. Found: -stove stop had spark. (ie. 120V.) all burners were operational. -digital display had no read out on it. Confirmed on control board power in no power out. -checked resistance on hot surface ignitor to find low reading for room temp. -checked broiler ignitor to be ok. - ordered parts from APPROS.COM - received 2 days later and installed both broken components following weekend.
