Ge WB03T10272 Knob Selector OEM Part

Second repair after 10 years of service - igniter had cracked and spill overs were causing the others to misfire. This was a two-step process. I took apart the cooktop to see what parts were neded. Screws were all rusted, I had to drill ome out. The burner gaskets broke during the process and needed replacement. One of the burners had deformed due to excess heat. After that initial diagnose, I reassembled the cooktop without the igniters and ordered all the parts I needed. The second stage was easy since I had already learned which parts needed replacement and how. work finished with a good cleanup of th glass plate.

Replaced element control switch, dual element switch, indicator light and plastic knob for dual-element switch.

(1) Pried old selector knob off carefully by placing a putty knife on cooktop surface under knob (to protect glass cooktop) and slowly applied upward force on bottom of knob with a flat-bladed screw driver to gradually lift knob off post. (2) Red model number on bottom of cooktop to ID correct cooktop parts on website. Used images on AppliancePartsPros.com website to verify I had the correct part - the images with the 1" grid on them are especially helpful to compare sizing with actual part. (3) New knob slid onto post by hand & seated with firm downward pressure Fast and Easy

I ordered new knobs for my 14 year old range. They were sent promptly and worked perfectly!! I’m so happy that my knobs won’t be falling off anymore and that I don’t have to keep switching them around to use them!!
