Knowing that was completely unreasonable (it's a simple plastic part), I searched the web and found AppliancePartsPros. I ordered on a Thursday, and received it Friday--the next day! Gloria J Vallejo , CA March 13, 2014 Appliance: Model GE SLIDE IN STOVE Knob broken on one burner. could not turn on burner Discovered knob for burner was broken, and could not turn burner on. the cost of the knob was very reasonable. the knob was ordered on a weekend, shipped on a Monday, and I received it on Tuesday. I had checked on the GE website for this part, and is was more than 10 times the price. No tools were required, and the knob was put on the stove in less than a minute.
