Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. When the lens broke the light fell down into the base of the cooktop. I bought a light and lens but for the price I could not go wrong. I cannot believe how fast and easy my order was handled!! (make sure the electrical power to the range is disconnected). The new lens pops into the panel face plate, then the bulb housing slides onto the back of the lens. Read More...
