Description

This lid lock striker attaches to the washer lid and engages the lock mechanism when closed. Replacing a worn striker restores proper lid locking so cycles can start and spin safely.

• Provides the physical tab the lid lock/switch detects to verify the lid is closed
• A damaged or missing striker can cause the lid not to lock, washer not to start or spin, cycle pauses, or a flashing lid lock indicator/error
• Helps ensure the control can safely allow agitation and spin only when the lid is closed
• Restores alignment between the lid and lock to prevent false "lid open" detection
