Description

This lint screen felt is a replacement seal that fits around the dryer lint screen to help block lint and improve airflow through the lint trap. It restores a tight seal for more consistent drying performance. What it does:

• Seals the gap between the lint screen and housing to help keep lint in the trap
• Helps maintain proper airflow through the lint screen area
• Reduces lint bypass that can lead to extra lint buildup in the cabinet
• Commonly used when the original felt is worn, torn, or compressed

Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the dryer before starting any service
• Remove the lint screen and fit the felt into the screen housing slot, making sure it seats evenly
• Clean the lint trap area of debris before installing the new felt
• If adhesive is required by the dryer design, use only manufacturer-recommended adhesive; otherwise the felt should press-fit into place
