Description

This maintop strike is the small latch plate the cooktop engages with to stay secured and aligned. Replacing a bent or missing strike restores a snug-fitting main top and proper engagement with the latch mechanism.

• Provides the engagement point for the main top's latch mechanism
• Helps keep the cooktop seated and aligned to reduce movement and rattling
• Can correct issues like the top not staying down or visible gaps at the front edge
• Supports proper actuation of any associated latch/safety switch, when applicable
