Ken B Westchester , OH July 22, 2016 I had a broken handle on front of my microwave {ge} oven The fix was fairly simple with just two screws. My only problem is the handle that was broken was black. I could only get a white handle to fix it. My only solution is to find a paint that I can paint the handle black. I did get the new handle quickly, I will use the appliance pros in the future if the need arises. Thanks so much for your help. Kenneth Bracken Read More... Steve R Lambertville , MI August 13, 2016 Appliance: Model JVM 240 001 Broken handle on ge microwave Very simple fix. Just unscrew two Phillip head screws located inside of door. Molded door handle will set in place (make sure the top and bottom are not reversed). Screw it back in. Perfect. The cost of this product was considerably less than other on-line sites. It sure beats having to call a repair service. I would still be waiting! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
