Description

A small mechanical release lever used with certain refrigerator ice makers to manually cycle the unit and release built ice. Helps diagnose or temporarily operate an ice maker while troubleshooting or waiting for a replacement. What it does:

• Manually trips the ice maker harvest cycle so the molded tray releases ice.
• Lets you verify the ice maker's motor/harvest mechanism is working.
• Useful for testing when ice cubes are not being ejected or the unit won't cycle.
• Can be used as a temporary workaround while diagnosing fill, temperature, or advance issues.
