Dave W Medina , OH January 13, 2015 Appliance: Model GE JV535 Replace range hood I bought a replacement GE range hood and installed it with the help of my son. The only real difficulty was the ground wire from the old installation was too short, making the new electrical connection harder than it should have been. Because the range hood is vented to the inside, GE recommends charcoal filters to supplement the metal mesh ones that come with the unit. I ordered the filters from AppliancePartsPro & they actually arrived about 22 hours later. OUTSTANDING!
