Mark F Calera , AL April 07, 2018 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator GTS22WCMBRWW Clicking noise that was coming from the compressor every 30 seconds Replaced the PTCR & Overload components that push onto the compressor, & clicking stopped and refrigerator started working again. Its been 5 days since the repair and everything is working great. Its a 10 to 15 minute repair job. If you add blowing out the coils or vacuuming them at 5 minutes. Just 4 nuts off the back panel cover, and a screwdriver to pop off cover over the components and then gently pry or pull off all parts, push new parts on, replace cover and back panel. Read More... I took the cover off the lower back of the fridge and used a flathead screwdriver to take the cover off the side of the compressor to access the starter relay and overload.
