Description
This oven lamp holder is the heat-resistant socket that secures the interior light bulb and connects it to the appliance's wiring, restoring dependable visibility so you can check food and rack positions without opening the door as often.
- Holds and powers the oven light bulb inside the cooking cavity
- Maintains a solid electrical connection to prevent flickering or intermittent lighting
- Replace if the light won't turn on with a known-good bulb
- Also replace if the socket is cracked, charred, loose, or shows signs of arcing
- Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the appliance; allow the oven to cool completely
- Remove the lens and bulb to access the holder; some models require access from the rear panel
- Transfer wires to the new holder one at a time and secure the mounting clip/tabs
- Reinstall the bulb and lens, restore power, and test; use the bulb type specified for your model
