Description

This overload protector helps safeguard the compressor by shutting it down during electrical overloads or overheating, preventing damage and improving appliance reliability. Fits select GE refrigerators and mounts on the compressor body. What it does:

• Senses excessive current or heat at the compressor and interrupts power to prevent burn-out
• Helps stop hard-starting compressors from running continuously when overloaded
• Works with the start device/relay as part of the compressor starting and protection circuit
