Garyn G Long Beach , NY December 15, 2024 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator PFSS0MFCASS The refrigerator suddenly stopped running the interior light worked but the temperature panel was dark the appliance kept trying to cycle on but immediately would click off instead over and over First I spent time researching. Then I looked at the control panel, which to my DIY eye looked great. Then I replaced the overload and run capacitor. And that fixed the problem. The repair itself took less than 15 minutes but I spent about 30 additional minutes researching and watching repair videos. Note that It takes some effort to access and pull the damaged part out of the socket on the compressor. Read More...
