Description

This overload is a compressor protector that helps stop the compressor from overheating or drawing excessive current, keeping the refrigeration system safer and helping prevent premature compressor failure. What it does:

• Opens the compressor circuit when the compressor overheats or draws excessive current
• Helps protect the compressor motor from damage caused by electrical overloads or locked-rotor conditions
