Dennis G Louisville , KY August 09, 2016 Appliance: Model J SP2GOT1AO Oven light was burned out after (22) years of service!!! First find correct breaker & kill power to range. I disconnected the two wires from the lamp base, unscrewed the oven lamp holder from the back wall.. The glass over the bulb will unscrew from the lamp holder. (I didn't know that) I tried to take the bulb out but it had been there to long. I destroyed the base trying to remove the bulb. Ordered new lamp holder on Friday at 4:00PM and it arrived next day by USPS. Replaced bulb in holder screwed on outer glass lens, hooked up two wires at back & installed new ground wire (see new male connection on side of holder). Then pushed new lamp holder into position, reinstalled rear access panels, plugged up range and light is working again. Thanks to GE AppliancePartsPros.com Read More...
