Natalie S North Bellmore , NY November 24, 2014 Cracked panel door handle came loose at the bottom and glass front fell out Purchase a replacement Panel Door via ApplicancePartsPros.com and watched a Youtube video on how to disassemble the microwave door. I followed these steps: 1. Using a flat putty knife or butter knife, gently pry out the black rubber backing of the door. 2. Remove the door handle via the screws that are now exposed. 3. My glass was already gone but if yours is still there, hold the panel door and glass while you unscrew the small screws holding the panel door and glass to the frame of the microwave door. 4. Then, gently pull the panel door off the frame. 5. Remove glass and insert glass into new Panel Door. 6. Click new Panel Door into place and screw in the small screws to stabilize. 7. Reattach door handle. 8. Push black rubber backing back into place. The whole process took about 15 minutes. We thought we were going to need to buy a whole need microwave but this process was so easy and painless (and cheaper!). Read More...
