Description

This QC seal damper is the refrigerator air damper that helps control and seal airflow between compartments to keep temperatures stable and reduce energy loss. Replacing a worn damper restores proper airflow regulation. What it does:

• Regulates cold air flow from the freezer to the fresh-food section to help maintain set temperatures.
• Seals the transfer opening to prevent unwanted air exchange and reduce temperature swings.
• A faulty or stuck damper can cause uneven temperatures, excessive frost/ice, or poor cooling in the refrigerator compartment.
