This square beauty ring was snapped in place with about 12 small retaining studs that were part of the beauty ring. By using my fingernails I could pull out the ring a bit all the way around. After working my way around the ring 2-3 times it came loose in my hand without breaking. I then installed the new one by pressing it into place with the same retaining studs that gripped ring into place. I installed this new one by also going around the ring 2-3 times and installed by hitting with my heel of hand gently a bit at a time. It snapped in place securely and fit perfectly. Whole process took no more than 5 minutes. Worked very well. No service call, no trip charge, no fuel adjustment fee, no mileage, no tax. Cost and freight were very reasonable.
