Description

These right- and left-side lid actuators engage the washer lid latch so the washer can detect a closed lid and start cycles reliably. Replacing worn actuators restores proper lid latching and user safety interlock function. What it does:

• Moves the lid latch components to lock and unlock the washer lid during cycles
• Ensures the lid switch/interlock registers a closed lid so the washer will start
• Can cause the washer to not start, stop mid-cycle, or report a lid/open error when faulty
• Helps stop noisy or inconsistent lid latching caused by worn actuator gears or plastic tabs
