Description
The Rotor Motor is an OEM part for GE washers. This motor is the heart of the wash basket, generating the agitating and spinning movements necessary to thoroughly clean clothing.
The rotor motor works in tandem with the transmission belt and wash drum to provide both agitation and extraction (spinning) cycles. During agitation, oscillates the drum back and forth rapidly to loosen and pull in dirt and stains. In spin, it rapidly rotates the drum to extract water through centrifugal force.
