Description

The Round Valve Burner is an OEM component specifically designed for GE gas ranges. Each burner delivers flame through a round metal valve that is mounted below the cooktop surface. 

Symptoms of a bad burner include:

• Inability to ignite or an intermittent flame 
• Irregular or unpredictable flame size regardless of control knob position
• Yellow flame or flame that encompasses the burner entirely instead of staying centered
• Gas smell emitting from the burner area when in use

Causes of burner failure can be a buildup of residue or debris in the valve mechanism over many years, wear and tear of internal parts like the thermocouple or orifice, or physical damage.
