Description

This SCR (silicon controlled rectifier) replaces the failed power-control semiconductor used on select appliance control boards. It helps restore proper power regulation so the appliance can heat or run reliably. What it does

• Regulates and switches DC/AC power to heating and/or motor circuits on the control board
• Commonly fails when the appliance has no heat, intermittent heating, or erratic motor operation
• Can cause no-start or partial-power symptoms when the rectifier no longer conducts properly
