Anita K Crossville , TN July 03, 2015 Missing hardware for fridge doors We bought a used fridge and forgot to get the hardware to mount the doors. Looked up the model on your website. Using the pictures I was able to order just the parts I needed and not to duplicate anything (or leave anything out!). The parts arrived and because I watched the "how to" video I knew to use the "trick" to hold the doors up while attaching the hardware. Had the doors mounted in less than 15 minutes!.. Adam M Racine , WI February 26, 2019 We bought a cheap refrigerator and during the move we lost a handful of the parts for the door Found the parts on this website and installed them. I was actually quite happy since there is a diagram of the door and I could go piece-by-piece to order what I needed. Alice H Wickenburg , AZ August 18, 2017 Appliance: Model GE GSS25WGMD WW Door would not finish closing on its own as it had before (exterior door "fresh food side") 1) By using google to find videos on why the door wouldn't close, I found out I needed new cams, those same videos also showed how to remove and replace the door. 2) Then by googling the fridge model number and the word 'cam', I was able to find the parts. 3) Taking the door off was simple, I needed a phillips head screwdriver to remove the hinge cover, however the screws in the hinge plate were so tight, I needed a side handle socket wrench to loosen them. 4) The door itself is not hard to handle than say one of the old Dyson Vacs from the 90s. 5) Replacing the cams was simple, just remember one of those cams is on the ubderside of the door so you have to turn the door upside down once you get it off. 6) Along with the replacing the cams I also added a trust washer under the cam that sits on the hinge attached to the body of the fridge. (not on door bottom). 7) Putting the door back on was a little tricky, but nothing big. --------------> LESSON LEARNED <--------------- 8) The door STILL would not close properly after completing all the above steps,ONLY after RELOADING all the grocery items back into the door compartments, did the door start shutting on its own again.
