David K Portsmouth , RI December 21, 2014 Bottom heating element not working on a ge electric range Move stove to unplug, remove rear center panel, indentify the two spade connectors that feed the heating element and remove (unplug) them. Remove two screws that hold the element to the inside rear wall of the stove and remove element. Install new element, plug in the previously removed spade connectors, re-install rear center panel, plug range (power) in, move stove back into place and enjoy. Terri S Lone Oak , TX December 02, 2017 Appliance: Bosch GE010-020 Bake element went out Turned the breaker off. Took oven door off and removed racks. Removed the 2 screws holding element with nut driver. Pulled element to reveal connection with a flat tip screw driver disconnect the element from wires Remove old element. Installed new element retracing my steps. Turned breaker back on. Ready to go. Worked great! Thanks! Read More...
