Description

This radiant sensor is part of the gas dryer ignition circuit. It detects infrared heat from the igniter and burner so the gas valve only opens when ignition is present, restoring consistent and safe dryer heat.

• Detects heat from the igniter/flame and controls the gas valve circuit
• Enables safe ignition and helps maintain a steady burner flame
• Common symptoms: igniter glows but no flame, burner lights then goes out, no heat or intermittent heat, long dry times
• Used on gas dryer models

What's included: One radiant sensor assembly Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off gas supply before servicing; allow the burner area to cool
• Access the burner assembly; remove the lower/front panel as your model requires
• Move the wires, remove mounting screw(s), and install the new sensor in the same orientation; avoid touching the igniter
• If heating issues persist, also inspect the igniter and gas valve coils
