Description

This room temperature sensor measures interior air temperature so the refrigerator can regulate cooling cycles and keep food fresh. Replaces a failed thermistor to restore accurate temperature readings and stable cooling. What it does:

• Senses refrigerator cabinet air temperature and sends a signal to the control board
• Helps the control board cycle the compressor and fans correctly for consistent cooling
• Commonly fails when you see warm or inconsistent temperatures inside the fridge
