This freezer light shield is the clear lens that covers the freezer-compartment light. It protects the light assembly and diffuses illumination so you can see contents clearly while keeping food items from contacting the light area.

• Covers and protects the freezer light assembly; also called a light lens or light cover
• Diffuses light for more even, comfortable illumination
• Replace if the original lens is cracked, yellowed, warped, missing, or won't stay attached
• Typical symptoms: broken/missing lens, exposed light, glare or dark spots, damaged retaining tabs

• Disconnect power before servicing; allow any lamp to cool
• Open the freezer and support the lens while releasing tabs or removing the retainer (as applicable)
