Paul S Green Valley , AZ February 28, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator TFX25ZPBGWW Plastic shield light was warped from heat of light bulbs and would no longer stay in place on rear wall of refrigerator I needed to find a parts supplier who could provide a replacement part at a reasonable price. I first tried the manufacturer, General Electric, but they only showed freezer replacement parts for the model of my side-by-side refrigerator. In looking over a list of parts available for this model there seemed to be a possible part that sounded like a match but there was no picture to confirm that this was the correct replacement part. When i clicked the Appliance Parts Pros web site They had a diagram of the refrigerator section for my model of GE and a drawing of the part and where it fit in the unit. Next to the drawing was a part number which led me to a picture and description of the part and its cost including shipping. It took the guesswork out of the process, which I appreciated. After ordering the parts were delivered within two days transit time. Took me less than ten minutes to swap out the two defective parts. Read More...
