Description

This Shield Water Valve controls water flow to the appliance's dispenser and ice-making system, restoring proper filling and reducing leaks when the valve assembly is failing. Direct-fit replacement for the original inlet valve assembly. What it does:

• Opens and closes the water supply to the dispenser and ice maker so the appliance fills on command.
• Stops water flow when the dispenser is idle to prevent overfilling and dripping.
• Common symptom: no water from dispenser or ice maker.
