Description

This Mullion Spring Sleeve is the small bushing that fits over the door mullion (center flipper) spring. It guides the pivot and reduces wear so the flap folds smoothly and helps maintain a tight seal between refrigerator doors.

• Provides a smooth bearing surface around the mullion spring/hinge pin for reliable pivoting
• Helps the mullion fold out on opening and spring back to close the center gap
• Wear or loss may present as a loose or binding flipper, clicking/grinding, or a gap that prevents a full seal
• Replacing the sleeve can help restore proper flipper action without replacing the entire mullion assembly

What's included: 1 mullion spring sleeve Install notes:

• Disconnect power and clear items from the door; remove the mullion from its top and bottom pivots, noting the spring orientation
• Slide off the worn sleeve from the spring/pin and install the new sleeve in the same position
• Reinstall the spring and mullion; verify the flipper opens/closes freely and the center seal makes full contact
• Wear cut-resistant gloves; edges around the door and hinge can be sharp
