Description

The GE spark module kit is an OEM replacement part for GE stoves and ranges. It generates the spark needed to ignite the gas burners. The kit includes the spark module and associated wiring harness. When the burner control knob is turned to the "ignite" position, the spark module receives a signal and activates. It then produces an electrical spark that ignites the gas as it flows from the burner orifice, allowing the burner to light.

Over time, spark modules can fail due to electrical issues, wear and tear from frequent use, or exposure to moisture. A malfunctioning spark module can disrupt the ignition process, making it difficult to light the burners.

Symptoms of a bad spark module include:
