Sara T Petersburg , WV June 11, 2015 The part that extends from the spray arm was broken At first I planned to just buy a new dishwasher, this one wasn't working THAT well, and it didn't seem like it would be worth the effort to fix it. I looked at the cost of a new dishwasher and decided to give fixing it a go. I took the old part out (the wrong way) and discovered that there was a lot gunk build up in it--no wonder it wasn't working very well. I got on Appliancepartspros, found the part I needed, watched the video that showed exactly how to take the old part out and put the new part in. It was simple--didn't even require any tools! I ordered the part and paid a bit extra for two day delivery (I hate washing dishes by hand). It arrived, I unwrapped it, put it in and VOILA, fixed! It has been about a month at least and everything is working GREAT--I'm glad the spray arm broke! I cleaned all the nasty's on the floor , and access to the part was much easier, and cleaned pump, hoses, and every thing i could in the washer. wow is there alot of crud build up. You will be amazed. Anyway your part was a perfect fit. and a quality part. Also your on line schematics are very helpful Thanks again Charlie K. Rex S Morristown , AZ February 10, 2025 Dishwasher would not fully pump out I replaced the scavenger valve on the inside rear of the wash tub. Very easy. Totally effective. A technician would have been in and out of the house in a half hour and presented a sizeable bill (probably reasonable, too). I'm an old man with a lack of flexibility and I found this job very easy and quick. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers
