Dennis V Parker , CO March 24, 2020 Not dispensing ice, making loud noise When I took it apart I found that the drive cup was cracked, the helix lock plate hole was reamed out and the ice deflector spring was broken. The biggest problem was the helix had slipped down the shaft and allowed the end of the shaft to bore a hole in the housing which made it a bear to get out. Others have had the same problem. Once I got past that obstacle, it was simple to replace all the parts and it's working like normal again. Very helpful video explaining the repair. I saved over $100 because with the help on the video because I was able to make the necessary repairs myself. Just a note if your a novice at fixing things . remove blades and plastic bushings one at a time and keep them in order for reassembly. You'll notice the blades are offset for a reason.
