Located the necessary parts that needed to be replaced and then purchased them on AppliancePartsPros.com at a savings. Repair was a 15 minute event and microwave now enters cooking mode and door shuts and stays shut just like before it was broken. Between the youtube videos and then being able to find and purchase the part on your site for about 5 dollars, I saved several hundred bucks.( According to GE, I would apparently need to buy a whole new door) Bought the part on your site, it was delivered super fast! I was almost ready to give up after a few web sites and calling the official GE Parts place which told me it was discontinued, Somehow I found this and just want to reiterate the model PSA 1201 RSS 01 latch is an identical replacement, I bought the spring which was paired with the latch but it was shorter so don't purchase the spring, My only add is after removing the door find a flat surface and lay down towels or a blanket to protect door.
